Welcome to the website for Manheim Township's exploration of the International Baccalaureate program. Manheim Township is currently a candidate school considering offering an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and hopes to offer classes beginning in the 2011-12 school year.

International Baccalaureate (IB) is a worldwide consortium of schools offering a comprehensive program that emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, rigorous academic standards, international-mindedness, and a holistic approach to student learning. The program Manheim Township is exploring, the IB Diploma Programme, is for high school juniors and seniors, and offers highly motivated students the opportunity to earn an internationally recognized IB Diploma. Students who enroll in the program will take an intensive, highly structured curriculum in their junior and senior years.
