Mission Statement:  Nathan C. Schaeffer Elementary School, nurtured by its neighborhood environment, strong sense of community, and dedicated caring staff, parents, and volunteers, shall educate students by means of an innovative, creative learning system in a broad-based curriculum balancing strong academics with personal and civic responsibility in a safe and secure atmosphere that enhances life-long exploration and growth.
