Attendance Policy for Interscholastic sports-Don’t be the last to know

Attendance Requirements:
To participate in extracurricular activities and interscholastic athletics, a student must be in attendance the FULL SCHOOL DAY on the day of the event or activity.

 

FULL SCHOOL DAY shall mean being in attendance no later than thirty minutes after the start of the school day and leaving no earlier than thirty minutes prior to the end of the school day. Any student arriving later than thirty minutes after the start or leaving more than thirty minutes prior to the end of the school day nevertheless may be considered to attend a full school day if they submit a late arrival or early dismissal note from a parent/guardian, with an attached explanatory note from a physician. Exceptions to this provision may be
granted by the building administration only under exceptional circumstances.
