Welcome to Brecht Elementary! Home of the Bobcats!

Our school is an amazing place for children to grow, learn, and play. At Brecht, we love all kids and we want them to be successful. Our district's mission to nurture and challenge our learners for success drives all our decisions, actions, and programs.

We will continue to work diligently to foster an atmosphere that promotes a learning community characterized by child-centered instruction. We are committed to being a continually improving school community where we all share responsibility for student success. We utilize a strong system of Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) to nurture and challenge our students for success. At Brecht, we teach desired behaviors through lessons that emphasize Respect, Responsibility, and Safety in all settings throughout the school day. We also celebrate and recognize our students who show "The Bobcat Five" with paw print rewards, Bobcat of the Month recognition, Golden Tray (cafeteria) and Golden Classroom (specials) awards, and other exciting school wide challenges and celebrations.
