PST stands for Pupil Service Team which is responsible for monitoring student performance and implementing research-based intervention strategies to support student learning needs. Reidenbaugh team members include the principal, school psychologist, reading specialist, classroom teacher(s) and parents. The team meets on a regular basis and works collaboratively to analyze student data to make the most informed decisions regarding student performance and progress. Students who the team finds are not making progress and are not responding to interventions may be referred for a psycho-educational evaluation to further assess their strengths and needs. The ultimate goal of PST is to help all students find success within the regular education classroom by addressing each student’s learning strengths and needs individually so that they may become independent learners.
