Neff Principal Letter – September 2017

Mitchell, AnnaSeptember 12, 2017Neff Elementary News

September 8, 2017

Dear Neff Families,

We have had a wonderful start to the school year! Students are already learning routines and procedures that will help to ensure a productive learning environment all year long. Teachers are working with their classrooms to establish an environment where kids feel safe and valued. With those things in place, our students are confident and able to work towards their goals!

Thank you to those of you who dodged the raindrops to attend Back to School Night this week! I appreciate all that you do to establish a collaborative relationship with school so we can work together to meet your child’s needs. If you weren’t able to make it, please be sure to read all of the information your child’s teacher sent home. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher.

Every child brought home a ‘Parent Consent for Online Educational Services’ letter this week. It includes an informational letter, apps and online resources used by the district, and a consent form. We must have the signed consent form for your child to access the online resources listed on the form. Please be sure to return the consent form by Monday, September 11.

This year we look forward to continuing our school wide initiative to recognize students for showing their Neff PRIDE.

P – Positive – Choose behaviors that build up your friends and YOU

R – Respectful – Show consideration for community, school, others, and yourself

I – Involved – Have your mind and body focused at all times (be self aware)

D – Dependable – Be responsible and act so that others can count on you

E – Excellent – Aim to do your best at all times

I look forward to working together with you and your child this school year! Please be sure to let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or your child.

Sincerely,

Travis Bash

Principal
