Comprehensive Plan

Our mission: Nurture and challenge for success.

As per the Chapter 4 regulations established by the PA Department of Education, school districts are to develop and submit a Comprehensive Plan every six years. Part One of the Plan covered the first three years of the six-year requirement (2017-2021) - with a one year extension due to the pandemic. The Manheim Township School District facilitated Part Two of the strategic planning process during the 2021-2022 school year, in preparation for its implementation during the 2022-2023 school year. The new Plan is written through the 2024-2025 school year.

The 2022-2025 Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the Board of School Directors on August 18, 2022. The Plan meets the requirements of the following statutes:

  1. Chapter 4 (Academic Standards & Assessment)
  2. Chapter 12 (Student Services)
  3. Chapter 16 (Gifted Education)
  4. Chapter 49 (Teacher Certification, Induction, Professional Development)
