Stay Informed: Summer Eats, PowerPacks, & Save the Dates

As the school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to wish you and your family a safe and healthy summer. Before the summer break officially begins, we would like to share some important information and highlight a few save the date events that you won’t want to miss. 

SUMMER EATS PROGRAM

Summer breakfast (8:30-9:30am) and Lunch (11:30am-12:30pm) is available free of charge to children 18 years of age and under from June 12th-August 10th. No registration or ID required. MTSD Summer Meal sites: Bucher Elementary (450 Candlewyck Rd) and Schaeffer Elementary (875 Pleasure Rd). Click here for more information.

POWER PACKS SUMMER PROGRAM

Power Packs are available for students over the summer months from June 21st- August 9th. MTSD Distribution will be held at Bucher Elementary (450 Candlewyck Rd) and Schaeffer Elementary (875 Pleasure Rd) on Wednesday’s from 11:00am-1:00pm. Visit https://www.powerpacksproject.org/enrollment to sign up to receive healthy meals for your family.

SAVE THE DATES 

Rep. Mike Sturla Back To School K-8 Event at Clipper Magazine 

Join us for a Back to School event at Clipper Magazine Stadium hosted by Representative Mike Sturla’s office on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 12:00-2:30 pm. Students will recieve a free backpack, school supplies, and more. This event is open to Manheim Township K-8 families. Registration is required and can be done at www.RepMikeSturla.com.

MTSD K-12 Kick off and Literacy Fest 

Join us on August 22, 2023 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Manheim Township High School Stadium for our K-12 Fall Kick-off & Literacy Fest. Meet the Blue Streak athletic and performance teams, enjoy face painting, an Instrument petting zoo, free book, reading under the lights, and more. Start the school year with family fun and a love for literacy!
