MTSD Advances to Phase 2 of Campus Master Plan
Posted on June 17, 2025
Manheim Township School District is moving forward with the next phase of its Campus Master Plan, following updates to its architectural agreement and planning process.
What’s Included in Phase 2?
Phase 2 focuses on critical infrastructure work at two key sites:
- Landis Run Intermediate School (LRIS): Construction of a new drive and parking lot
- Maintenance Building: Now included based on updated stormwater management recommendations from the District’s civil engineer
Design services for Phase 2 will be handled by Harbor Engineering and JPD Architects under time-and-materials contracts, not to exceed agreed-upon fee schedules.
Additionally, the following projects, originally part of Phase 1, will proceed this summer:
- Removal of fuel pumps
- Track upgrades
- Installation of irrigation systems for the baseball and softball fields
- Removal of lighting at Journey Field
Looking Ahead: Phase 3
Athletic facility projects identified in the Campus Master Plan will be temporarily paused until August 2025 due to additional rendering requirements for zoning approval. These projects are now scheduled to be addressed during Phase 3.
A Continued Commitment to Responsible Growth
The District appreciates the community’s ongoing support and patience as it continues to enhance its learning environments with careful planning and phased development.
