MTHS Announces 2025 Homecoming Court:
Manheim Township High School will kick-off its annual homecoming celebration on Friday, October 3, 2025. Festivities will take place in conjunction with the Manheim Township home football game against Cedar Crest. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. The Manheim Township Homecoming Queen will be crowned during the half-time ceremonies.
The 2025 Manheim Township High School Homecoming candidates are: Annabel Albright, Winnie Allen, Laila Colon, Georgia Ealy, Ella Himelfarb, Paige Hughes, Wyatte Lyons, Leah Phillips, Oly Sponaugle, and Elaine Warfel.
Annabel Albright is the daughter of Rick and Elizabeth Albright. Annabel is a member of National Honor Society, Link Crew, Key Club, and is also involved in the IB Programme and the Manheim Township Women in Leadership club. In addition, Annabel is a co-captain of the Manheim Township Dance Team. Outside of school, she is a member of the Encore Performance Company at Encore Dance Center, where she takes classes and performs at local events. Annabel plans to attend college to study international relations and public policy. She will be escorted by her father, Rick.
Winnie Allen is the daughter of Matt and Beth Allen. Winnie is pursuing the IB Diploma, is Vice President of her class and student council, a member of National Honors Society, a part of MT Cross country, MT Performing Arts, and Link Crew. She has done sound crew as well as been in the cast of Manheim Townships “Fame” and “Singing in the Rain.” Outside of school she is also an Attollo scholar and has her own band “Hotmess” where she plays the keyboard and sings with four of her other friends. She works at Rock Lititz interning at Clair Global and volunteers at Blessings of Hope. She plans to attend a 4-year college studying either a political science major or music business/production. She is escorted tonight by her father, Matt.
Laila Colon is the daughter of Lauren Cosgrove and Jermel Colon. She is a part of the Manheim Township wrestling team, where she is a team captain and a state placer. Laila is a part of National Art Honors Society and a member of the yearbook club. Outside of school she is a part of Lancaster Alliance wrestling club. Laila plans to attend college where she will wrestle. She is escorted tonight by her mother and father, Lauren and Jermel.
Georgia Ealy is the daughter of David and Michelle Ealy. She’s a member of the National Honor Society. She’s also founder and president of the Rescue Me club which is a club focused on finding homes for local shelter animals. She has been on the track team for the last four years and currently is a member of the cross country team. She has been dancing at Encore dance center for the past 10 years and is also a member of their company dance team . She has also been a member of the High School dance team for the past four years. She plans to attend college and is unsure of her career choice at this time.
Ella Himelfarb is the daughter of Mark and Holly Himelfarb. Ella is a captain of the girls cross country team, a member of Manheim Township track and field, participates in Rescue Me SPCA club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Outside of school Ella is an active member of her church and youth group, teaches swim lessons at her local pool, and volunteers at Blessings of Hope food bank. After high school she plans to attend a four-year college, and major in Business. She is escorted tonight by her parents, Mark and Holly.
Paige Hughes is the daughter of Joey and Heather Hughes. Paige is Secretary of the High Schools Student Council, a member of National Honors Society, and a member of MTHS Link Crew. Paige is also an Overall Head of MTHS Mini-THON where she helps raise money and spread awareness for kids fighting childhood cancer. Paige is a four year varsity player for Township’s softball team. Outside of school Paige is a part of High School Ministry at LCBC and plays travel softball for Vanquish 18U-National. Paige plans to attend a 4-year university where she intends to play softball at the collegiate level. She is escorted tonight by her father Joey.
Wyatte Lyons is the daughter of Megan Rippon and Justin Lyons. Wyatte has been a member of Manheim Township dance team for the past four years, serving as a captain for two. Alongside her participation in the dance team, she is also vice president of Women in Leadership as well as a member of Link Crew and National Honors Society. Outside of school, Wyatte has been dancing for over 10 years and currently takes a variety of classes at VY International Ballet Academy where she has also assisted teaching classes for younger dancers. After high school, Wyatte plans to attend a 4-year university to pursue environmental studies. She is escorted tonight by both of her parents.
Leah Phillips is the daughter of Michael and Beth Phillips. Leah is Class President, member of National Honor Society, Link Crew leader, and a student in the IB Program. During high school she has also participated in Key Club and Student Council. Outside of school, Leah enjoys playing club soccer for Lancaster FC, tutoring Congolese refugee children at Westminster Presbyterian Church, and working at Caruso’s Pizzeria. In her free time Leah loves to camp, hike, and snowboard with friends. Leah’s future plans are to attend college to study business and minor in Spanish. She is escorted tonight by her Dad, Mike.
Oly Sponaugle is the daughter of Jim and Tedi Sponaugle. Throughout high school, she has been deeply involved in leadership and service. Oly has served as a class officer for three years—in various officer roles and this year as class treasurer. She has been a dedicated participant in Mini-THON since her freshman year and now serves as a head of the DAR committee. Oly has also been a leader in Morgan’s Message, serving as the president for the past three years. In addition, she has been an active member of Student Council since freshman year and now proudly serves as president. She is also a Link Crew commissioner, a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of Key Club. Athletically, Oly is a member of the field hockey team and a two-year varsity captain. Outside of school, Oly has maintained a part-time job since her sophomore year, demonstrating her commitment and responsibility beyond the classroom. Following graduation, she plans to attend a four-year university to study business. She is escorted tonight by her father, Jim.
Elaine Warfel is the daughter of Michael and Denise Warfel. Elaine is National Honors Society President, Student Council Treasurer, captain of the soccer team, a member of the swim team, a Mini-THON Design Committee Head, a Link Crew Leader, a member of the IB program, and a staff writer for the The Township Times. Outside of school, she participates in PA Classics Club Soccer, Skyline Swim team and Lead Crew, and works as a lifeguard. Elaine plans to attend a 4-year university. She is escorted tonight by her father, Michael.
The Manheim Township Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, October 4th at 6:00 pm at the high school. The theme this year is Out of This World!
