Registration for New Students
Manheim Township School District uses an online student registration program which allows parents/guardians to input student information from their home, office, public library or any other web-hosted location.
Please only register if your child is not currently enrolled at Manheim Township School District.
To register your student for school, you must first have a valid e-mail address. If you do not currently have an e-mail address you can click here to set up a free Gmail account. If you already have an e-mail address you are ready to begin the online registration process. Click here to start the online registration process to register your child. Please be sure to choose the correct school year for your child’s registration.
Registration for students in grades 1-12 who plan to start in August for the 2018-2019 school year will open on May 1, 2018. A link will be added to this page on that date.
After completing your online registration, you must call the District Office at 717-569-8231 to schedule an appointment to finalize your registration. The following documents are required to complete your student’s registration:
- Valid photo ID of parent/guardian
- Original birth certificate or passport for the student

The student does not need to be present for this appointment. The person registering the student must be the student’s parent or legal guardian.
If your student will be in Kindergarten, he/she must be 5 years old by August 31.
If your student will be in grades Kdg – 4th, he/she will be assigned to an elementary school depending upon the current class size, your residential address and any special needs your student may have. After he/she is assigned to a school, you may contact the assigned school to make an appointment to visit.
If your student will be in grades 5th – 6th, your building assignment will be Landis Run Intermediate School. No class scheduling is necessary; however students will need to be tested in reading and math prior to starting school. NOTE: Students who register over the summer will receive information about the upcoming school year at the time of enrollment.
If your student will be in grades 7th – 12th, you will need to meet with a guidance counselor at the middle or high school so that course selections and class schedules can be made. The school will call you once all documentation is received. NOTE: Students who register over the summer will receive information about the upcoming school year at the time of enrollment
