The Reidenbaugh Wrap up – October 2019 Edition

Wickenheiser, KellyOctober 18, 2019Reidenbaugh Elementary News

Each month we will highlight what is going on at Reidenbaugh. This month we will share some of the highlight from our first grade. First grade students have been learning all about clouds. The students can now properly identify Cirrus, Stratus, and Cumulous clouds. They have enjoyed learning about clouds and making cloud books.

First grade also gets to spend quality time with their third grade buddies. Mostly they spend time with their buddies reading, however they do have some STEAM Lab activities planned with them in the future. Both grades really enjoy their time together.

The students have been reading, using technology, and completing steam activities. They have been able to work with the Ozobots in the STEAM lab and really enjoyed it. They are learning how to post items to Seesaw so parents and guardians can see their latest work that they have done. The first graders are also using Nearpod to complete their vocabulary assessments.

First grade is looking forward to many more fun fall activities this coming month!
