Nitrauer Elementary Update: Community Town Hall Presentation

As part of our commitment to transparency and community engagement, Manheim Township School District hosted a Nitrauer Elementary Community Town Hall Meeting on January 14, 2026.

Prior to the Town Hall presentation, community members were invited to tour Nitrauer Elementary School, providing an opportunity to walk through the building and gain firsthand context of the current learning spaces and facilities.

During the Town Hall, RLPS Architects shared a presentation with families, staff, and community members that included:

• An overview of the current Nitrauer Elementary School building

• Identified building conditions and infrastructure needs

• Key findings from the feasibility study process

• Potential long-term considerations for the site

• Opportunities for community feedback and engagement

This presentation was designed to provide the community with a clear understanding of the building’s current state and the planning work underway, while inviting thoughtful dialogue about future possibilities.
